Bianca: Vampire Diaries scoop? Is there anything at all you can say about The Originals coming back?
The return of The Originals brings with it some great sibling rivalry. Translation: Poor (hot) Joseph Morgan might need a hug. Any of you fans willing and able? Well, get in line!
nickstives: Is it true Damon is hooking up with someone other than Elena? Say it ain’t so!
Damon will get naked with someone other than Elena. If you Damon-Elena fans want the good news about this particular storyline, just stop reading after the first four words of the previous sentence.
Biggiepie: Anything on TVD that’s coming up that we don’t know?
With TVD never one to drag a story out too long, we hear that the mysterious locked coffin will be opened sooner than you think. As in, count the days! Yeehaw!

Daniel Gillies Interview With TV Fanatic

TV Fanatic’s Matt Richenthal caught up with Daniel Gillies and chats with him about Elijah’s return and what’s coming up for The Originals.
So now that Elijah is back in the suspense-filled picture, what can we expect from him? How does he view the brother who recently placed him, once again, in “the big sleep,” as Gillies referred to his dormant state?
“They’re gonna have to put aside their differences,” the star said. “Let’s face it, both of us have betrayed the other in some way, Klaus obviously more prolifically than Elijah, but Elijah has done his fair share, as well.”
Referring specifically to Thursday’s “Bringing Out the Dead,” Gillies teased the episode will “dictate the course” of the next several installments, with “terms and parameters” getting laid out for various characters.

The CW has released the synopsis for Episode 3.15 titled “All My Children”.

A FLIP OF THE COIN — After starting her day with a startling discovery of Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) latest indiscretion, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is frustrated to find that none of her friends agree with her on how they should react to the Original family’s internal power struggle.  Once again caught up in the destiny of the Bennett witches, Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Abby (guest star Persia White) find themselves playing a part in a ritual to appease the spirits of nature.  When Elijah (guest star Daniel Gillies) gives Damon and Stefan (Paul Wesley) a dangerous ultimatum that puts Elena in danger, they turn to Alaric (Matt Davis) and Meredith (guest star Torrey Devitto) for help with a plan that leads them to a terrible choice.  Candice Accola also stars.  Pascal Verschooris directed the episode written by Evan Bleiweiss & Michael Narducci

Joseph Morgan Interview with Wetpaint: Klaus’ New Infatuation

Wetpaint caught up with Joseph Morgan at the TCAs to discuss Klaus’ new infatuation with someone. Of course, we all know who that is now. But check out what he has to say!

Wetpaint Entertainment: What will Klaus go through in the near future?
Joseph Morgan: We’re going to see more layers, more aspects to his character. There’s going to be a love interest introduced.
What should we know about her?
Well, what do you know about her? Nothing. All I can tell you is that he becomes pretty infatuated with someone, and he’s not used to not getting his own way. And this person presents a new set of challenges to him, which only spurs him on further, only makes him more determined.
It’s a great thing for me as an actor because I’m playing a side of him that we haven’t seen before, a more tender side, the side that’s trying to woo someone, trying to flirt, trying to convince this person that he’s not just been killing for a thousand years. He does have a knowledge of culture and art and music and all of these things.

Robert Ri’chard Chats with Hollywood Life

Hollywood Life caught up with one of the newest guest stars on The Vampire Diaries, Robert Ri’chard (Jamie). What’s next for his character and what role will he play in Bonnie’s love life.

Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) has one very good reason to return to Mystic Falls, and it goes by the name of Jamie (Robert Ri’chard.) Although Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) alleged “new love interest” didn’t get too much screen time with her on his inaugural episode of The Vampire Diaries, Robert assuresHollywoodLife.com he’ll be back to make some magic happen — and soon. ”There’s more story to be told, and it’ll drift towards Bonnie because, I guess, she has a pretty flawed love life,” Robert tells me. (Yeah, that’s a bit of an understatement.)
Like most people on the show, Robert is being kept in the dark about Jamie’s future with Bonnie, but he says viewers can likely expect the chemistry to develop between them, especially as he stays close with Bonnie’s mom Abby (Persia White.)

Vampire Diaries Spoilers From E!Online: Klaus & Caroline Scoop!

E!Online Spoiler Chat has some goodies for us! Check it!
Annalisa: Loving Klaus and Caroline’s chemistry. Awesome twist! What’s going to happen with them? Anything?
I hear it’s also one of The Vampire Diaries‘ writers’ favorite scenes of the season, but don’t expect a sudden relationship to be born. Caroline (Candice Accola) is still holding strong to her faith that Tyler (Michael Trevino, who will be MIA from Mystic Falls for the next five episodes) will come out the other side of his sire bond issues. However, don’t expect Klaus (Joseph Morgan) to back off, either.  Word is we see more of his interest in Caroline in the Feb. 9 episode “Dangerous Liaisons”—which might explain the stills of the two of them dancing together.
Heathmonterrey: Stefan and Elena—is there any hope for them?
The triangle definitely heats up in the next few episodes as Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) try to rebuild their relationship in spite of both brothers being in love with the same girl.
FrankLewis97: Any chance Stefan will end up being badder than Klaus, and Klaus a big old softy? I like bad Stefan.
The producers told me they swear that Klaus won’t go soft, but that doesn’t mean we won’t start to see a more human side of him—except where his war with Stefan is concerned.  Why is it that Stefan always manages to bring out the worst in Klaus?
Nicole_Gutierrez: When will we see Jeremy again?
Word has it that Steven R. McQueen is still in Atlanta, so hope is not lost for Jeremy fans!

Vampire Diaries Spoilers From E!Online Spoiler Chat: Originals Scoop!

E!Online’s Spoiler Chat has some pretty juicy Vampire Diaries Spoilers…when does Stefan find out about “that kiss”, some scoop on the Originals, and what’s up with Bonnie’s mom?

Moosewithagoose: Could you ask around about possible Stefan/Caroline scenes on TVD? Would be much appreciated, thank you!
Been there, done that! We chatted with Candice Accola who tells us she’s a “big fan” of scenes between the two, but says “as of right now there hasn’t been a lot of interaction” between Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline. Boo! Hiss! As for a romance between the two, Accola says it seems unlikely. “I think that would be extremely complicated,” she tells us. “I can’t really picture that in reality as being something that would happen anytime soon, if ever.”
occamsrazor0: something about the Original family, por favor!
As most Vampire Diaries fans know, we’ll be introduced to two new brothers soon and here’s what Joseph Morgan could tell us when we caught up with him. “I have a very different relationship with Kol than I do with Finn. When you get the whole family together, it’s really charged.” The whole family? Things that make you go hmmm… When we poised the idea of an Originals spinoff to our favorite hybrid, he tells us he’s pulling for it “unashamedly.”
Jessica: When is Stefan going to find out about that kiss between Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder)?
Very soon. As in, this week soon!
Margie: Dying for Klaus and Caroline scoop!
Nothing between them in the next episode. Sad trombone! Klaus will have his hands full trying to get the coffins back. But there is a great storyline involving Tyler. Also, Bonnie’s Mom and Caroline’s dad both show up in the next episode. One to help their child, one not.

Vampire Diaries Spoilers: Keck’s Exclusive Scoop on… Gasp! Damon Naked?! Again?!

Keck’s Exclusive from TV Guide is reporting on an upcoming scene where we find Damon…Naked AND in bed with a hot vamp! Check it.

Ian Somerhalder told me at the People’s Choice Awards that he’d just shot a Vampire Diaries scene where Damon “wakes up naked with another woman who is a hot vampire.” Might this be Katherine? Nina Dobrev (Elena/Katherine) hints, “I can’t say whether or not I’m in that scene, but it is a character fans are familiar with and Elena will definitely have an opinion on it.

Vampire Diaries – Episode 3.12 – The Ties That Bind – Preview Clip

The CW has released a new clip from next week’s episode 3.12 “The Ties That Bind”. Bonnie, Elena and Damon search for Bonnie’s mom.

Vampire Diaries Spoilers Via EW Spoiler Room “Will Katherine Return?”

Thanks to EW Spoiler Room, we have some scoop about this new Gilbert everyone has been talking about, Julie Plec dishes on “Klaroline” and can we expect to see Katherine back any time soon?
Hi Sandra! I’ve been reading a lot online recently about a new character coming toThe Vampire Diaries, Samantha Gilbert, and that she’s supposedly a new love interest for Damon?? As a hardcore Delena shipper, please SAY IT ISN’T SO!!! — Sophie
It isn’t so. “She’s not for Damon,” EP Julie Plec assures. “We’ll meet her in the past, not the present. She’s somebody that we meet in not present-day Mystic Falls.” All better, Soph?
I am dying over these Vampire Diaries photos right now and don’t know what to think, especially Caroline and Klaus. I need scoop immediately anything on #TVD. — @Gval21
You should be dying — of excitement. Because as hinted in last night’s episode — and teased to Spoiler Room by Julie Plec — it’s on. “I have a feeling that Klaus ultimately is equally capable of indulging in love and sabotaging love, just like Damon is. But there is certainly going to be an object of his interest very soon,” she told us Wednesday night.
Anything about TVD‘s Stefan/Katherine? Thanks! — Rose
Though she’s currently on the down low, I’d expect to see Katherine very soon. “She’s gone underground, and so it will be a surprise when we see Katherine again. As Katherine tends to do, she’ll pop up sometime and throw everyone for a loop,” says Plec.

Julie Plec Dishes on Tonight’s Episode with E!Online

E!Online caught up with Vampire Diaries boss, Julie Plec. She talks about tonight’s episode, Caroline is celebrating her 18th birthday, Jeremy’s leaving, and what’s going on in Elena’s head after that epic kiss.

“Whereas everyone would think Caroline would throw herself a fabulous party and  she would be on cloud nine, Caroline’s actually really bummed out. She’s not  excited for her birthday at all. The is the first time she’s realizing that even  though she’s turning 18, she’s not really turning 18,” Accola explains. “This is  the first time she’s realizing that her being a vampire will hold her back from  a lot of firsts in her life and first and foremost, turning 18. Everyone’s  excited to celebrate and she’s the only one who’s not really looking forward to  and it and she just wants to be alone for her birthday.”
“Elena is confused, frustrated, trying to focus her energies away from  herself and the questions she’s having in her head about her feelings for each  brother individually and she channels that into wanting to help shake Caroline  out of her funk on her 18th birthday,” Plec explains. “But in the process, she  gets into a pretty bad situation with Stefan that shatters her soul a little  bit.”
Plec teases that a scene at the end of the episode will shed a lot of light  on Elena’s state of mind: “There’s a nice scene at the end of the episode where  Elena reflects where she is and how she’s gotten there and who she used to be  versus who she is now. It’s a really nice moment for her that will let the  audience a little bit inside her head on how she feels about everything.”

Kat Graham Interviews Via TV Line and TV Guide

Kat Graham chatted with TV Line and TV Guide about tonight’s episode and what’s coming up with Bonnie and her mom, Abby Bennett.

Via TV Line:

TVLINE | This week is Caroline’s birthday. How does the gang celebrate the big day? In an unpredictable way. And where it takes place and what happens during the birthday is also a surprise that I don’t think has been revealed yet. It’s not a normal birthday.
TVLINE | Caroline is struggling as she turns a year older. What’s going on with her? Getting older is hard, especially if you’re a vampire. She’s facing new thoughts that she hadn’t necessarily considered before. Everything’s kind of triggered it. She’s also in a slump because of what happened with her and Tyler.
TVLINE | It’s been a while since we’ve had some good Bonnie/Caroline or just friendship scenes. Does this episode give you a chance to have more girl time? Absolutely. Girl time is so important. We have this powerhouse female as a writer, Julie Plec, who’s just so girl power in everything she does. You’ll definitely get to see some scenes of us together.
Via TV Guide:
“How Elena is affected in all this really is very important to Bonnie [so] she’s going to be weighing all the options. If she does [open the coffin], does she let Elena know? Does she not let Elena know? What would happen if she lets Elena know?” she says.
Ironically, Bonnie’s involvement with Stefan leads her to an important person in her life: her mother, Abby Bennett. “This leads her back to finding her mother who, we’ll learn, left town 15 years ago, gave up her witchcraft and gave up her family,” executive producer Julie Plec says. “[She'll be] reuniting and working out a lot of issues with her mother.”
Graham adds that Abby’s involvement in the mythology is “intriguing and shocking and important and you’ll be surprised.”

Vampire Diaries – Episode 2.13 – Bringing Out the Dead – Synopsis

The CW has released the synopsis for Episode 2.13 “Bringing Out the Dead”. The episode airs February 2nd.

A FAMILY DINNER — Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) delivers some disturbing news to Alaric (Matt Davis) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) about the weapon used in a recent murder.  In the Salvatore brothers’ escalating quest to kill Klaus (Jospeh Morgan), Stefan (Paul Wesley) turns to Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Abby (guest star Persia White), while Damon (Ian Somerhalder) reaches out to an old acquaintance for help in setting up an elaborate plan.  Intent on a plan of his own, Klaus hosts a strange dinner party, where he reveals another story from his family’s violent past until an unexpected guest brings the party to an end.  Meanwhile, Caroline (Candice Accola) is heartbroken when she is unable to stop a tragedy from unfolding.  Zach Roerig also stars.  Jeffrey Hunt directed the episode written by Turi Meyer & Al Septien

Paul Wesley Talks Playing the Bad Boy with EW

EW chatted with Paul Wesley, where he talks about how he is enjoying playing the villain, and here he talks about the upcoming scene with Elena that we’ve seen in the promos.

“He’s essentially kidnapping her,” Wesley says. “There’s layers of humanity, regret, and sadness in his eyes, but it’s all sort of masked by this sociopathic, raging maniac who’s scaring her to death. His relationship [with Elena] is sort of the antithesis of what it was, which was this really romantic, soft, protective relationship. Elena is the key to everything [in his battle with Klaus], and Stefan will go to any extreme to get what he needs, which makes him much more terrifying.”

On playing the “Bad Boy”:

Early in season 2, you sat down with Plec and said that while you love Stefan’s heroic side, as an actor, you’d love to dirty him up a bit. She told you she and Kevin Williamson already had that in the works. Has this arc turned out to be everything you hoped for?
Yeah, I don’t want the arc to end. I don’t want to go back to being the good guy. Look, Julie said we’re gonna milk it as long as we can. I also understand that things get old. Hopefully this is still new and fresh. You know, he was the good guy for two years. Maybe I can do another two years as the bad guy to balance it out. [Laughs] I think everybody likes playing the bad boy.

The Insider: Kat Graham Teases TVD’s Next Big Shock

The Insider‘s Jarret Wieselman chatted with Kat Graham the other day when she was making her interview rounds, and here she teases the next big shock.

Insider: In this dream, she saw Klaus lying in the coffin that in reality can’t be opened. How long will it remain sealed?
Kat: I can’t say how long it will be but I can tell you that whatever is in that coffin is extremely important to the future of what’s happening in Mystic Falls – and the show in general. There’s a lot of weight to that reveal.
Insider: Suffice it to say, the reveal will be, in true TVD fashion, shocking?
Kat: So shocking. I thought that by season three they wouldn’t be able to shock me anymore, but that has not been the case at all. It’s always said that a third season is the best season, and in our case, that’s so true. This year is so incredibly shocking. It’s a mind f*** and I love it [laughs]. People will not believe what’s coming and the degree of twists and turns with how they interlock the originals with other things and how their relationships with everyone in Mystic Falls is going to play out.

More Stills From The Vampire Diaries – Episode 3.12 – The Ties That Bind

The CW has released for Episode 3.12 “The Ties That Bind”. Thanks again to Clarissa over at TV Overmind for posting!
