Vampire Diaries Season 4 Premiere 4.01 and 4.02 Titles Revealed

Thanks to TV Guide for posting the other day, we now have the title for The Vampire Diaries Season 4 Premiere. Episode 4.01 will be titled “Growing Pains”.
The Vampire Diaries Elena Gilbert is about to go through some major changes, so it only makes sense that Season 4 premiere will be titled “Growing Pains,” TVGuide.com has learned.
When the CW series picks up, Elena (Nina Dobrev) will begin to transition into a vampire, during which she will no doubt endure both physical and emotional changes. And even though she chose Stefan (Paul Wesley) over Damon (Ian Somerhalder), once memories from previous compulsion flood back, she’ll have even more to be confused about.
And now today, thanks to Julie Plec we now know the title for Episode 4.02 will be “Memorial”. Thanks to Julie for tweeting this photo of the title page.

Vampire Diaries Spoilers – New Season 4 Secrets Via TV Guide’s Keck’s Exclusives

TV Guide‘s William Keck had a chance to chat with Julie Plec and the TVD cast at the 2012 San Diego Comic Con. Major spoilers ahead, so proceed with caution. This one in particular has peaked my interest, especially the part about Matt. I don’t think it’s what they say it is though, I think what Julie is speaking of, is actually a “nod” to the books. What do you guys think?
- Early in the season, newly-turned vampire Elena (Nina Dobrev) will have what Plec calls her “first hot vampire sex” with either Damon, Stefan, Klaus, Matt or Elijah. A possible clue as to who the lucky guy is? “Elena saved Matt’s life, so he’s going to end up paying it forward in a very peculiar way.” Dobrev’s reaction to the action: “It’s like she’s going through puberty and vampire sex is going to feel like her first time.”

Photos courtesy of Zimbio (Click HERE for more)
The Vampire Diaries cast descended upon the 2012 Comic Con yesterday and their Q&A panel was packed full of all kinds of spoilery goodies, including a brief snippet from TVD S4. Check out TV Line and TV Guide’s highlights from the panel. SPOILER ALERT!!
Via TV Line:
FRESH FOOTAGE | Production on Season 4 has only just begun, but fans were treated to a (very) brief glimpse at the upcoming run. In one scene, Damon is slamming Matt up against a wall (probably mad that he was saved in the car crash), while in another, the bad(der) Salvatore brother tells Stefan: “Now the world has one more quarterback. Bravo, brother.”
Via TV Guide:
Delena vs Stelena: Elena may have chosen Stefan in the season finale, but her transformation will change the dynamic of the trio’s relationship. “One really cool thing is Elena is a badass vampire girl and she can take care of herself finally,” Somerhalder said. “It’s going to add a really interesting dynamic between the three of them. She’s going to need help from these two, and the three of them are going to learn a lot together in a very short amount of time.”

Joseph Morgan speaks on near (FAKE) death experience

Joseph Morgan almost died last month. On television, that is.
During a recent interview, executive producer Julie Plec admitted that the original script for the Vampire Diaries Season 3 finale called for Klaus to be killed off. Alas, she simply could not let this mesmerizing actor go.

"I must be doing something right!" Morgan joked with E! News at the Monte Carlo TV Festival about sticking around the show. "I talked to [Julie] about what would be the best thing to do. She said, 'I think there are some more stories to tell with this character," and I said, 'I agree, and I would love to have the opportunity to tell them.'"

He now as that opportunity, as the Vampire Diaries Season 4 will find Klaus swapping bodies and, as Morgan surmises, possibly swapping spit as well.
"I think it will end in tears, probably Caroline's. I think Klaus will do his best to take advantage of the situation and to get something from it; I wouldn't be surprised if he does. I wouldn't be surprised if the first Klaroline kiss is in Tyler's body, but eventually I think he'll be found out because that has the most dramatic effect, right?"
Morgan adds that there's major "chemistry" with Candice Accola and he's appreciative that the Klaroline arc has allowed his character's "humanity" to shine through.
Watch the E! video interview with Morgan now and sound off: Are you glad The Vampire Diaries is keeping Klaus around?

The Vampire Diaries casting for new killing machine

Two recurring players are on their way to The Vampire Diaries Season 4, and each is expected to play a key role early on.
FIRST, a new casting notice calls for a teenage actress to portray April. A Mystic Falls native and private school student, she moves back to town after a death in the family.
Might she be a love interest for Jeremy? These two will apparently have a sad something in common.

SECOND, producers are looking for a "scary hot" to come on board as Connor. This character is outlined as a "highly trained killing machine." Will he be the new villain teased by both Julie Plec and The CW itself in a press release?
Weigh in now with your reaction to these roles and with any suggestions on who should take them on!

Julie Plec tweets , teases villains, makeups , makeups and more

Well played, Julie Plec.
Doing her job admirably as a producer and Twitter user, Plec has sufficiently teased The Vampire Diaries Season 4 in a posting this week, sending the following message to followers:
TVDS4: surprises, tragedies, new villains, break-ups, make-ups, romance and scandal, small pockets of happiness for all. And maybe some fun.

To what could she be referring? Who the heck knows at this point.
But we do know The Vampire Diaries will debut a new hunter early on this fall, as a mysterious character named Connor comes to town.
The Vampire Diaries cast returned to shooting this week in Atlanta, as they'll take a mini break for an appearance at Comic-Con later Saturday - I'll be interviewing each star on the red carpet, submit questions for them below! - and then fans can expect plenty more scoops and spoilers to be revealed over the coming weeks.
